With our aim to steer the nation­al dia­logue on dance prac­tices towards true equi­ty, diver­si­ty is a nec­es­sary tool in demon­strat­ing the breadth of dance across the coun­try.

• Aes­thet­ic Per­spec­tives: Attrib­ut­es of Excel­lence in Arts for Change by Ani­mat­ing Democ­ra­cy is a frame­work that offers 11 artis­tic attrib­ut­es that ele­vate aes­thet­ics in civi­cal­ly and social­ly engaged art, expand the cri­te­ria for con­sid­er­ing aes­thet­ics, and pro­mote appre­ci­a­tion of the rig­or required for effec­tive work.
• The Guide­lines for Inclu­sive Writ­ing are designed to help the fed­er­al pub­lic ser­vice and any oth­er orga­ni­za­tion pro­duce writ­ing that is free of dis­crim­i­na­tion based on gen­der, race, eth­nic­i­ty, abil­i­ty or any oth­er iden­ti­ty fac­tor.
