Membership Benefits
In addition to being part of a collective effort to support dance, your membership includes a number of tangible benefits such as:
• Participation in the I love dance / J’aime la danse National Campaign• A detailed listing in our online Membership Directory
• Discounted registration to CDA conferences and events
• Access to a discounted rate for translation services (English to French, contact the CDA office for details)
• Tools and resources to help you in your work
• Regular e-bulletin updates on issues of regional and national importance
• Subscription to The Dance Current magazine (free with organizational membership, a discounted rate of $32.00 offered for individual membership - regular $42.00)
Membership Categories
Members may join the Canadian Dance Assembly as Individuals or Organizations.
INDIVIDUAL membership categories consist of:

* Affiliated membership requires that you are an active member of a regional dance service organization.
** Please note that student members do not vote.
ORGANIZATIONAL memberships are based on operating budgets, categories are broken down as follows:

| Annual operating budget of $100,000 - $249,000 | $125 |
| Annual operating budget of $250,000 - $499,999 | $290 |
| Annual operating budget of $500,000 - $749,999 | $550 |
| Annual operating budget of $750,000 - $999,999 | $785 |
| Annual operating budget of $1,000,000 or more, calculate 0.07% of operating budget to a maximum of $2,000 | $2,000 |
| Service organizations with an annual operating budget under $50,000 | $100 |
| Service organization with an annual budget over $50,000 | $150 |
| Educational affiliates (institutions ineligible for arts council funding) | $175 |
| Business affiliates (non-voting) | $300 |
Please note that membership fees are subject to review and may change from year to year. All members will be given advance notice of any such changes.
