CDA was proud to participate in Arts Day on the Hill in Ottawa last week organized by the Canadian Coalition of the Arts. We’re honored to advocate for dance artists and organizations alongside dedicated arts leaders.

Our core message to MPs: increase the Canada Council for the Arts budget by $140M, moving toward the goal of allocating permanently 1% of the federal budget to arts and culture. We did a little sprint. And now the advocacy marathon continues—and we’re not slowing down.
