📣 It’s time to make our voices heard.

🥤💻 Bring a bevy and your writing instrument(s), let’s come together to write to our MPs!

💌 Collective Letter Writing Session with some prompts to inspire your writing!

💞 Let’s all participate in the collective call for the Canadian government to permanently allocate at least 1% of its overall spending to arts, culture, and heritage every year.

To achieve this for the 2025-26 fiscal year, the Government should increase its allocations by $270 million, specifically:

– An increase of $140 million to the Canada Council for the Arts (core, touring and individual artists funding);
– An increase of $130 million to the Department of Canadian Heritage.
