The Canadian Dance Assembly proudly presents National Dance Week leading up to International Dance Day as part of the “I love dance/J’aime la danse” national campaign. During this week, one theme is celebrated each day to embrace the rich and varied landscape of Canadian dance.

Day 1: April 22 – Dance is vital our communities (Sponsored by the Royal Winnipeg Ballet)
Day 2: April 23 – Dance embraces healthy living (Sponsored by Les Grands Ballet Canadiens and the new National centre for dance therapy)
Day 3: April 24 – Dance expresses diversity and social cohesion (Sponsored by CPAMO)
Day 4: April 25 – Dance is a source of well being for seniors
Day 5: April 26 – Dance empowers Canadian youth
Day 6: April 27 – Dance contributes to a creative economy (Sponsored by National Ballet of Canada)
Day 7: April 28 – Canadian dance has an international impact
Day 8: April 29 – International Dance Day!

Create an event during “National Dance Week.” We will facilitate publicity for your event. ( Register your event below)
Brand your current April event(s) under “National Dance Week,” and under I love dance/ J'aime la danse any time of the year
Sponsor a theme (a day) of National dance week
Contribute to the I love dance campaign blog www.ilovedancecanada.ca
