Get ready to celebrate National Dance Week each April! Canada’s National Dance Week leads up to International Dance Day April 29th as part of the I love dance/J’aime la danse Campaign. During this week, one theme is celebrated each day across Canada to embrace the rich and varied landscape of Canadian dance.

In celebration of International Dance Day (April 29, 2012), this inspiring video "Why I dance... Pourquoi je danse..." was produced for the Ontario Arts Council. It was created to support the goals of the Ontario Dances program, and embodies the spirit and message of the "I love dance/J'aim la danse" campaign.
