CADA/BC exists to enable dance artists to reach their full potential. It serves the provincial dance community, fostering excellence and the sustainability of the art form, while promoting a national and international network. CADA/BC endeavours to advance the status of the dance arts in society. Our members include: Professional dance artists, emerging dance artists, students, and associates (administrators, technicians, etc.).
CADA/BC provides a Training Fee Reimbursement Program (for professional dancers and emerging dance artists only, communications and email postings network, access to a medical and dental services provider, advocacy, a contract template for dance engagements, and selected discounts due to membership at various venues, studios, and other dance services organizations.

Canadian Actors’ Equity Association (Equity) is the professional association of performers, directors, fight directors, choreographers and stage managers in English Canada who are engaged in live performance in dance, theatre and opera. Recognizing that the arts are vital to life and artists make an invaluable contribution to our society, the association supports the creative efforts of its members by seeking to improve their working conditions and operations. The business of Equity is to negotiate and administer collective agreements, provide benefit plans, information and support, and act as an advocate for its membership.

Projet artistique fondé sur la volonté et l’implication collective de ses membres, Circuit-Est centre chorégraphique démontre, depuis plus de vingt ans, un engagement profond envers le milieu de la danse en offrant des espaces de travail et des activités
de perfectionnement et de ressourcement. Récemment emménagé à l’édifice Jean-Pierre-Perreault, Circuit-Est dispose maintenant de trois grands studios et du studio Jeanne-Renaud qui permet d’approcher la création d’une façon plus globale en y intégrant les
divers éléments d’une production. Les membres de Circuit-Est sont : Sylvain Émard Danse, Louise Bédard Danse, Fortier Danse-Création, Le Carré des Lombes, Et Marianne et Simon, Danse Carpe Diem/Emmanuel Jouthe, maribé-sors de ce corps et Frédérick Gravel.

Dance Ontario is a dynamic cross-section of all areas of the dance sector from internationally renowned companies to urban dance clubs. We are an active and thriving force with over 450 members across Ontario. Dance Ontario produces DanceWeekend @ Harbourfront Centre, commissions works, tours members in workshops and performance, and publishes an annual directory and quarterly newsletter. Our website at Dance Ontario carries job listings, competitions, show listings and dance-related issues and through our hotline we field enquiries from the general public, referring them to members’ services.
